Our accreditation
Pay Vets Now is a product of MF Automations LLC (EIN 42-1809012, a Florida LLC). The platform itself is software. Legal representation of veterans is provided exclusively by VA-accredited attorneys and claims agents acting under 38 CFR 14.629 and 38 CFR 14.636.
Accredited team
Our VA-accredited agents and attorneys are listed in the VA Office of General Counsel accreditation database at va.gov/ogc/apps/accreditation. Every accredited team member is required to maintain continuing legal education per 38 CFR 14.629.
Fee rules we follow
- We never charge a fee to prepare an initial claim. That is illegal under 38 USC 5904.
- We charge fees only after the VA issues an initial decision on your claim.
- Our contingency fee on appeals is 20 percent of past-due benefits, VA direct-paid, per 38 CFR 14.636.
- Every fee agreement is filed with the VA Office of General Counsel within 30 days of signature.
What we are not
We are not an unaccredited "claim consultant" or "medical evidence review" company. Those businesses charge veterans thousands of dollars for help that federal law prohibits them from providing. State attorneys general in New Jersey, New York, Maine, California, and Alabama have criminalized that practice. We comply with every one of those laws, federally first.
Free alternatives - always
Every page of Pay Vets Now shows the free-VSO alternative. If a Disabled American Veterans service officer, a VFW service officer, your county VSO, or a law school clinic can handle your case for free, that is the right answer for you. We will help you find them.
